Personally speaking, this year, I’ve lost somewhere over three, maybe four million dollars on the stock market. And that’s not including the hit I’m taking from rising interest rates and the effect the strength of the Aussie dollar is having on my chain of 5 star hotels.
But hey, I’m still smiling. You want to know why? It’s because of this little ray of web sunshine developed by the clever folks at PUMA Bodywear. It’s called The Puma Index. I’ll let you see for yourself, but basically, when the market goes down, the male or female models (it’s your choice) take off their clothes. When it goes up, they put them back on. it’s like your own sexy financial report.

When the web’s coolest Music Video blog announced its top 101 video clips of the decade, we weren’t surprised to see Michel Gondry take out first place. In fact, the inventive French director was well represented in the list with his clips for The Chemical Brothers and The White Stripes all making the top 10. For the full list, click here. This may not cheer everyone up, but for those hoop fans out there, the 09/10 NBA season kicks off in like, 9 hours. To get you in the mood, check out the top ten dunks of the pre-season. A few months ago, we posted a gallery of cardboard shoes. Now, presuming that cardboard was already made from recycled paper, we reckon that’s some pretty earth friendly footwear. Bravo, cardboard shoe making guy.
But then there’s this guy. Using what looks like the remnants of computers and other consumer garbage, Gabriel Dishaw has made an amazing facsimile of a Nike Air Dunk.
