Alyssa Wells is the clever artist behind this neat little animation. Watch as bit by bit, a plain white sneaker is transformed into a completely unique piece of art. But the cuteness of this piece belies a whole lot of work. The animation is comprised of over 900 still photos. And that’s just the one shoe. Anyway, enjoy.
Ok, don’t freak out but adidas is releasing an impossibly cool range of gear inspired by the Star Wars universe. Just kidding, you can totally freak out if you want to. We’re talking one of the flyest brands on the planet in a mutant pairing with the most iconic film franchise ever. Imagine cruising around town in your Darth Vader shell suit, or rocking your stark white Stormtrooper kicks. As you can see from the sneak previews below, these are the real deal. Best of all, HypeDC will be stocking them from January 15, 2010. Super limited of course, so when they drop, you better make the jump to light speed. Miss out and your inner child will grow up emo. Big time.

Running is pretty boring isn’t it? It’s aimless, monotonous and most of us look funny when we do it. On the other hand, it is good for you. If only there was a way to get motivated about jogging, you know, without unleashing a heard of bulls down your suburb’s high street, right? Well now there is.
These nifty Lithuanian-designed running pants capture kinetic energy from your flagellating legs and use it to power a built it mp3 player. In other words, when you run you get music, and when you stop, the music stops too. Dancepants Kinetic Music Player is an interesting way to enjoy immediate benefits from jogging, but we’re kind of fixated on it’s potential in the field of bedroom dancing.
We feel weird about posting three videos in a row but to be honest with you, we just had to share this amazing skate vid with you guys. It has shades of that beautiful colour festival they throw in India, crossed with some sick riding and crystal clear slo-motion vision. Not much more too it than that really. Except for one of our favourite tracks of all time, 1966’s Can’t Seem To Make You Mine by The Seeds.
