When the L.A Trainer launched in 1984, it marked not only a classic training shoe but marked adidas push into the American footwear athletic market. Attempting to capitalise on the spirit and euphoria of the L.A Olympic games of that year, the German sportswear giant sought equip the feet of the largest world economy at the time. The Trefoil commissioned the L.A Trainer and delivered a suede, mesh and leather trainer with distinct toe detail and bevelled midsole with Peg support system. A runaway hit of its time and long thereafter, adidas Originals has sought to build on it's legacy with an appropriation of features exuding the latest tech from Herzogenaurach.

The Los Angeles takes the vintage training silhouette and streamlines it (Think the ZX Flux). A simple mesh construction with heat-bonded, reflective overlays and poly-suede heel accents form the upper. With flat-lock seams, the sleek silhouette sits atop an updated peg-less, EVA injected midsole. For comfort, there's a drop in Phylon innersole and to provide durability, adidas have commissioned a Continental® Rubber tread on the Outsole to deliver Best-In-Class Durability and Performance. With simplified lines and lightweight properties, the Los Angeles is destined for great things, like it's predecessor.

The Los Angeles is now available for Men & Women.
