Q: Tell us a bit about yourself.

A kiwi living on the Northern Beaches in Sydney, married and father to one. Been selling sneakers since I was 19.

Q: How do you normally spend Father’s Day? And what will it look like this year?

This is only my second Father’s Day, but my first was something to remember! My son had an allergic reaction, so we spent a few hours in hospital making sure that he was ok. However, I had always planned to have his name tattooed onto me on Father’s Day, so once we had the all clear I had his name tattooed onto my arm.

This year I hope for everyone to be happy and healthy, some time in the sun, a couple of beers and maybe a surf.

Q: What are you secretly hoping your kids buy for you this Father’s Day?

Aftershave, I’m running out fast.

Aftershave, I’m running out fast.

Q: What's the coolest thing you’ve done or learnt as a dad?

The coolest thing Ive learnt is becoming a Dad. Up until that moment the Doctor handed me Cam, I didn’t think I was ready to be a Dad. But 0.000001 seconds after you hold your first child for the first time, that all goes out the window. It is the best feeling ever

Q: Best memory you’ve made with your kids?

Having Cam run up to me yelling “Cuddle” and giving me the biggest squeeze is the best moment.

Q: What’s one thing you hope your children’s generation will do better than yours?

I hope that they look after each other and this planet in a better way.

Q: Where do you see your family in five years?

Happy, healthy and hopefully able to travel to see family and friends around the world.

Q: Favourite family holiday destination?

All-time favourite holiday destination is New York City. After going there 5 times and have amazing friends there, we are lucky to experience NYC without the normal tourist traps.

However, it’s a little tough to visit NYC at present, so somewhere closer to home would be Yamba in Northern NSW. An awesome little beach side town, heaps of different beaches and some amazing surf.

Q: Tell us a little about your style and what you’re wearing in our Father’s Day campaign.

My wardrobe is very mono-toned and I’m traditionally found on all black most days, I like to let the shoes do the talking. Today I am wearing pants by Assembly Label, ASColour T-shirt, Ksubi denim jacket and Raen sunglasses, while wearing the NB 327’s.

Q: What’s your favourite shoe at Hype DC?

Adidas performance 4D run 1.0 Parley. I really like the idea of the 4D footbed and I like what Adidas and Parley are doing.

Q: What kind of sneakers do you usually wear

I live by the beach, so I really like the classics, Vans Authentics & Old Skool, Converse Chuck Taylor All Star High, Adidas Gazelle, Nike Blazer Mids, but I have really been liking some of the heritage running silhouettes lately, like the Nike Tailwind.
