On Thursday 30 July, 7pm AEST we go live with Charlotte Lee on Facebook.

Charlotte is the designer of the new New Balance 327, which made an instant impression since its reveal as part of a collaboration with Casablanca at Paris Fashion Week six long months ago. It draws from New Balance’s association with ‘70s running culture, synthesising that record-setting history and vintage aesthetic with bold colour choices and modern materials to create a contemporary, instantly iconic lifestyle shoe.

Anticipation for the release of the heritage-inspired shoe has been building and coinciding with its Australian release, we’re streaming a live discussion between its designer Charlotte Lee and Steve Duck, editor of Complex Australia.

Get the inside story of how she took inspiration from archival models like the iconic 320 and Super Comp silhouettes to create a shoe that looks backwards while stepping forwards, her design background, advocating for women in the footwear industry, balancing tradition and innovation, working with one of the oldest athletic companies in existence and much more.

RSVP now to get a reminder when the interview is live.
