Nike first introduced the Pocket Knife in 1998 under their ACG banner. A foldable climbing shoe, it became a cult classic amongst trail runners thanks to it's lightweight protection, support and comfort. Of the era, the ACG division were adept at translating the disruptive design ideas that were spawned across numerous Nike designers of the time into boots and shoes that could scale Alps. The ACG imprint was renowned for coming up with solutions to the technical issues and questions that plagued the route to superiority in the great outdoors. From durable, water repellent and breathable materials and fabrication experimentations to lace systems that challenged the norm while delivering a dynamic fit for 360° support, the catalogue of Nike's All Conditions Gear was formidable and well ahead of it's time. Now almost 20 years later, Nike have reinvigorated the ACG Pocketknife with a new lease on life - with a different and new environment to scale.

Enter the Pocketknife DM. Appropriating the core design points of the original- flexibility and ease of entry- the new Pocketknife silhouette features a bootie construction with utility overlays and fastening. A mixed textile, nylon and synthetic bootie upper is secured by a simple toggle pull up lacing system with tongue and heel loop pulls affording an easier on/off transition. Complete with an embroidered mini-swoosh on the fore foot, the Pocketknife is underscored by a decoupled Phlyon midsole with modular breakouts for maximum flexibility, grip and on-the-go comfort.

The men's Pocketknife DM is priced at $209.95 AUD | Size: Men's US 6-13
