Ben Clement is a photographer and co-runs @goodsport_magazine.
Ben is normally shooting a lot of sports and athletes in different parts of the world. But with sport on pause, he decided to show how he is spending his time in a series of still life images with sporting themes found at home.

Normally I’m shooting a lot of sports and athletes in different parts of the world. So while sport is on pause I decided to show this by creating some still life images. |

And with a bit of nature and some fresh Adidas Terrex from Hype which I’ll get out into the trails with later. |

I run a lot, practice yoga and have always been into basketball, so I made these images with things found around my home. |

I also create a lot of sport related ideas through the magazine I co-run called Good Sport. Good Sport was created to rethink how we see and understand sport. So ideas like this fit perfectly into our interests and influences. |

Paying homage to my first love of basketball, I still have a lot of throwback items from the 90’s And what perfect timing with the new Bulls doco ‘The Last Dance’ that’s come out. You’ll even spot a photo of me pretending to dunk. |

Running is a huge part of my life. Whether I’m training for a race or organising something with my crew AM:PM.RC it’s something that helps me be creative. |

I’m very visual and kinaesthetic with my approach and process. As much as I like balance and structure, there’s always spontaneity in how my images come to life. Much how sport and movement should be I think. |

The practice of yoga and pilates are all part of a holistic way I like to lead my life. There’s always something to learn or try out - much like photography. |

Being out in nature, running trails or hiking is something I’m missing a lot at the moment. Although taking a lot of evening walks in the neighbourhood watching the season change has been really nice as well. |

Thanks for reading, I hope everyone finds a way to be creative through sports at this time. Stay safe, keep hydrated and be a Good Sport. |
