Star Wars fans all around the world have been given a rare opportunity to rebuild the 1979 sci-fi classic in their own image, 15 seconds at a time. Basically, some guys (I’ll go out on a limb here and call them nerds) have divided Episode 4: A New Hope into 472 fifteen second blocks and invited people from all over the internet to remake them using whatever props, actors, effects, the have at their disposal. While the individual results are pretty mixed, the overall effect is quite amazing, as you can see from the trailer below. Best of all, it’s not finished, which means you can sign up for your 15 seconds of science fiction fame right now. Interested? Confused? Don’t worry, we were too. You’ll find all the answers here.
