Trevor Burks is an artist/illustrator who creates strangely serene suburban scenes. His figures are anonymous, crowned with pastel prisms where heads should be. This series here, titled “Skate Myths” is inspired by environments he used to skate with his friends as kids. The interactions and gestures are also based on real events. We love his deft colour play and the underlying, understated narrative. Basically he’s our new favourite artist. What do you think?
