Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last few months, you’re probably aware that the debut album from Australian psych-rock outfit Tame Impala is one of the best local releases we’ve seen for years. What you’d be forgiven for not knowing is that the amazing artwork which features on the record is local tool. To be specific, the triptastic cloud/forest tunnel imagery was devised and executed by Melbourne based artist Leif Podhajsky. We wrote about him a while back but recently saw more of his work that got us excited all over again. There’s a certain dark slickness to Leif’s work that we love, a kind of foreboding stillness. We’d definitely like to get some of this stuff for our walls.
