Secret Wars is street art’s equivalent to Fight Club, a live mano-a-mano drawing battle in which there can only be one winner. The rules are simple: 90 minutes on the clock, black paint and marker pens only, no pencils, with just an invisible line separating the combatants. When time runs out, the victor is chosen by the audience and a panel of expert judges, which definitely adds an air of communal excitement to the already frantic proceedings.

Secret Wars are hosting battles in both Melbourne and Sydney but the next event kicks off in Sin City on Wednesday, March 16.
