How about a little sound association? Dub-stepper James Blake, the UK’s hottest property right now, has a song out off his debut album, a track called The Wilhelm Scream.
Presumably, it’s named after this famed sound effect that’s been used in a variety of films since the ‘50s. Most notably in Star Wars and Westerns.

Listening to it, it’s hard to see how it inspired the song, right? Damned if we can hear any repetition or influence in sound.
But pay attention and you’ll find he’s singing about falling, so there’s your clue.
