We love bikes. They’re fun, look cool, and are a great way of not having to bother with cars or public transport. Even better, you don’t have to worry about petrol. But what we forget about is the unquantifiable community benefits bikes can bring, particularly in developing nations. This short film explores this idea by focusing on a humanitarian project that is flooding a small Nicaraguan village with cheap bicycles. Have a look. It’ll probably give you a little more respect for your ride.
