Between the Lower East Side of New York City and the rest of the world, ALIFE - the stalwart label of their streets and intersections for over 15 years - have propagated the cultural pursuit and output of their neighbourhood. Becoming a hub for the music, arts and cultural happenings around the locale, their friends, family and artists alike were integral in prevailing the ALIFE banner. For the final release of the Puma x Alife capsule, the L.E.S natives have drawn upon their hyperlocal cultural pursuits to colour and code classics of the Formstripe.

The Blaze of Glory, R698 & Suede Mid all receive treatment from Alife. Taking inspiration from the Alife Sessions - a series of outdoor concerts and gigs in the backyard of Alife's Rivington street store - the Blaze of Glory is resplendent in a black premium upper, executed in rich tumbled leather, suede and mesh. The red, yellow, blue hits on the Trinomic midsole are reflective of the Alife Sessions logo, which appears on the heel of the neoprene sock-liner with a complimenting 'Sessions' callout on the pull tab. For the Trinomic R698, Alife instil their 'Stuck Up' tape logo that appears on the 90's runner. Covering the sidewals of the midsole and the Trinomic riverbed of the outsole, the R698 embodies signature A.R.C colours of red and purple to accent the mesh and suede combination upper. The Suede Mid however, pick ups where the initial Puma x Alife collection from 2007 left off. Where once white leather uppers were coloured with fluro accents and laces, the 2015 version witnesses a subdued all-over print with a nappy black suede and vintage lines. All three silhouettes are respective of the dynamic imprint these NYC streetwear stalwarts have left on this little corner of the world

The Alife x Puma collection is now available in-store and online.
